Iola-Scoandinavia toppled by Winnecone

The Thunderbirds suffered their first loss on the road as they couldn’t match the bats of Winneconne, suffering a 17-1 loss.

Iola-Scandinavia took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning. Winneconne went on an offensive flurry. Three runs in the first inning, six runs in the second inning, and eight runs in the third inning.

Seven errors by the Iola-Scandinavia fielders as well as Winneconne’s Libby Jahnke and Audra Schaffer, both contributing three RBI did the Thunderbirds in.
