Carolyn Jorgenson, age 81 of Waupaca, WI passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

Carol was born on November 15, 1941; daughter of the late Hubert and Ruby (Cates) Burelison in Whitewater, IN. She married James Jorgenson on June 30, 1961 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca.

Carol is survived by her husband, James Jorgenson of Waupaca, WI; son, Dennis (Holly) Jorgenson of Waupaca, WI; granddaughters, Tina Schmidt of Appleton, WI; Mandy Jorgenson of Waupaca, WI; Katie Jorgenson of Waupaca, WI; great-grandchildren, Zasha Jorgenson Berg of Waupaca, WI; Alyx Jorgenson of Stevens Point, WI; Kionna Jorgenson of Waupaca, WI; Tionna Jorgenson of Waupaca, WI; Gavin Schmidt of Appleton, WI; Zaydin Jorgenson of Waupaca, WI; Owen Schmidt of Appleton, WI; Maliq Lewis of Waupaca, WI; step-brothers, Richard York, James York; also many special family members and friends. Carol is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Freida Burelison, Adelia Burelison, James Burelison, Bob Burelison, Larry Burelison, Glenn Burelison, Tom Burelison, Duwayne Tyler, Anita Barnett, half-sisters, Donna Hensley, Donella Stone.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Waupaca Christian Church in Waupaca. Pastor Carl Ferguson will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until time of service at the Church. Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
