June V. Kobs, age 98, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Bethany Home in Waupaca.
She was born in Kaukauna, WI on August 21, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Ruth (Krueger) Keil.
She married Donald Kobs on May 1, 1948 in Kaukauna, WI. He preceded her in death in 1980. June was an avid Packer and Cubs fan. She loved to sing, enjoyed gardening, and was a proficient woodworker who made many pieces of furniture.
She is survived by her Daughter: Cheryl Schmit, Waupaca, WI; Grandchildren: Jaime Schmit-Burskey, Hortonville, WI; Christopher (Abbie) Schmit, LaGrange Park, IL; Great Grandchildren: Aiden Burskey; Emma Burskey; Norah Schmit; Miles Schmit; Sister: Marlene (Wayne) Iverson, Hartland, WI; Niece: Ann (Pat) Mahaney, Hartland, WI. Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two children - Guy Kobs and Kevin Kobs, a granddaughter - Jennifer Schmit, son-in-law - Don Schmit, two brothers - Paul Keil and Donald Keil, and three sisters - Virginia Erdman, Karol Chapman and Jane Jungenberg.
As per the wishes of the family, there will be no services held at this time. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
