It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda May Lehman on Friday, March 14th, 2025. She was a loving and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt & friend. Linda was born on December 7, 1944 to Harold and May (Noack) Kitowski. She was united in marriage on May 7, 1964 to the love of her life Calvin W. Lehman. Her life and career were founded on her passion of helping and serving others. In the early years of her career, she worked at New London Hospital and St Joseph’s Residence caring for patients. During her time there she acquired many lifelong friends. From a desire to better her community, she served several terms on the city council of New London. During her time as an alderman, she focused on improving the parks and recreational programs. She left her mark on the city of New London by establishing Anchor Park. In partnership with her husband Cal, they founded Master Electrical Services in 1991. The business continues to serve the community to this day. Linda was a talented artist, whose skills with a paint brush took our breath away. One of her specialties was painting Santas on wood cypress knees. The most important part of Linda’s life was those she shared it with. Spending time with her husband, daughters, grandchildren, family, friends and pets brought her immense joy.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Joelle (Tom) Meilinger; three grandchildren, Karter Lehman-Meilinger, Kassandra (Zachary) Voelz and Konor Lehman-Meilinger; a brother, Jack (Judy) Kitowski and a son-in-law, Joel Woodliff.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Cal and daughter, Arryn.
She made a profound impact on many lives. She will forever be missed & loved.
The Funeral Services for Linda will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20th, 2025 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Rev. Seth Dorn officiating. Visitation will take place from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. The burial will take place at Noon on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Floral Hill Cemetery.
