NEW LONDON – David Varnam, Republican candidate for Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor (the running mate of Tom Tiffany) will be the guest speaker in September for the Wolf River Area Patriots monthly forum series.
The forum is Tuesday, September 22, at 6:30 p.m. at the Washington Center, 500 W. Washington St. Vistors should use the south side entrance off Dickinson Street.
David Varnam served as Mayor of Lancaster from 2016 to 2022. As mayor, he worked to keep property taxes and utility costs low while helping businesses grow. Prior to his time in local government, Varnam served as a policy analyst for Dr. James Dobson at Focus on the Family. David’s Christian faith, his experience as a mayor, and his role as a father of two daughters shape his commitment to public service. As Lieutenant Governor, he says he will work alongside Tom Tiffany to lower costs, cut taxes, support farmers and small businesses, protect women’s sports and private spaces, strengthen parental rights, raise academic standards, and be a voice for all 72 counties.
