A Waupaca man is accused of stealing from his in-laws for the second time.
Ryan S. Lubinski, 31, is charged with felony theft.
On April 1, Lubinski’s father-in-law contacted the Waupaca County sheriff’s Office and reported Lubinski had transferred money from his in-laws’ checking account to his own account.
According to the criminal complaint, from May 10-30 Lubinski transferred a total of $3,450 from his in-laws’ account at Community First Credit Union to his account at the same institution. He then withdrew the money.
In June 2014, Lubinski was accused of stealing from his in-laws while they were away for a weekend. Lubinski allegedly stole a handgun, a rifle, two chain saws, a GPS unit, a laptop computer, several power tools and a fishing rod.
Those charges were dismissed but read into the record for sentencing purposes.
In March 2015, Lubinski was accused of stealing $400 from his boss’s purse at a McDonald’s restaurant where he worked.
He was convicted of misdemeanor theft and misdemeanor bail jumping and placed on two years of probation.
