Manawa’s Night Out was one of 16,000 that took place nationwide Tuesday, Aug. 4.
Held at Lindsay Park, the National Night Out event included entertainment by Comedy City and Tall Timbers Bluegrass band.
There were children’s games, meet and greets with police officers, EMT and firefighters and Mid-Western Rodeo royalty, and a K-9 unit demonstration.
“This evening was made possible because a lot of organizations, businesses and individuals stepped up to make it happen,” said Ellen Connor, director of Sturm Memorial Library.
