Wolves handle Warhawks at home

Manawa hosted Weyauwega-Fremont for a Central Wisconsin Conference-East boys’ basketball game Jan. 20.

Both teams had four players score in double figures, but a strong second half led to Manawa’s 76-58 win.

Weyauwega-Fremont led 24-23 at halftime. Brayden Arndt led the visitors with 10 points, while Dakota Stroud had eight for Manawa.

Trevor Krueger led Manawa with 17 points, followed by Nathan Gorman and Rohan Hass with 15 each and Tanner Nienhaus with 10.

Arndt led Weyauwega-Fremont with 20 points, while Jaden Rice added 14 and Ethan Marquette and Bryce Dittmann scored 10.
