Wolves pull away in second half

The Manawa boys’ basketball team outscored Marion 32-16 in the second half Jan. 19 and went on to hand the Mustangs a 74-47 Central Wisconsin Conference North Division loss.

The Wolves took a 42-31 lead into the locker room at halftime.

Jeven Sachtjen led Manawa with 19 points, while Josh Griesbach and Ethan Wiesner also finished in double figures with 11 and 10, respectively. Christian Prue led Marion with 17 points.

Manawa will travel to Tigerton Tuesday, Jan. 23, and host Bowler at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26.
