Edward O. Meyer Jr., age 75 of Waupaca passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024.
He was born August 13, 1949 to Edward and Evelyn (Herter) Meyer. He grew up with two sisters, Edna (Ronald) Voss and Louise (Darrell) Wilber and one brother, Allan (Sandy) Meyer.
On September 21, 1990 he married his soul mate Eva Burgoyne Buhler and they enjoyed 34 years of marriage.
Ed had a passion for a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon along with farming, hunting, Polka music and driving milk truck for Star Dairy for 36 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Eva; daughter Roberta (Mark) Erwin; son, Gordon Meyer and grandchildren Mason Erwin, Abby Erwin and Thomas Meyer. He is further survived by step-sons Dennis (Sandy) Buhler, Bart (Stacy) Buhler, Brandon (Vanesa) Buhler and 6 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Evelyn Meyer; mother-in-law, Monica Burgoyne; step-grandson, Seth Buhler and his beloved dog, Smedley.
A Funeral Service for Edward will be on Thursday, December 19 at 1:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home. Visitation will be 12:00 Noon until the time of service. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
