Flossie C. Much, age 74 of Clintonville, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Shawano Medical Center. Flossie was born on August 29, 1937 in the Township of Dupont, Waupaca County, the daughter of the late Henry and Cynthia (Robbins) Mehlberg. She was confirmed at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Big Falls and attended Big Falls and Marion Schools. On February 11, 1961, Flossie married Robert Much at the Zion Lutheran Church, Manawa. The couple lived and farmed in Big Falls later moving to Manawa, Embarrass, Marion and in 2000 moved to Clintonville. Earlier in Flossie's life, she worked on the family farm near Manawa, later working at Marion Plywood, Sturm Foods, Manawa, and Simmon's Juvenile Products, New London. Her hobbies included gardening, flowers, and fishing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as other family members. Survivors include: her husband, Robert of 50 years; 3 daughters: Bonnie Baker, Oconto Falls; Roberta (Daniel "Doc") Opperman, South Carolina; Trisha (Rey) Els, North Dakota; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Hazel (Jerry) Plauster, Marion; her brothers: Carl (Margaret) Mehlberg, Marion; James Mehlberg, Waupaca; Andrew and David Mehlberg, Big Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leonard and Olga Much; her sister, Rosemary Huebner; her brother, Lawrence Mehlberg; 2 grandchildren, Joshua Buckbee and Heather Werth, and 2 great-grandchildren, Robin Werth and Deon Scott-Buckbee. Funeral services were held 11 A.M. Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Marion with the Rev. Vilas Mazemke officiating. Interment will be in the Little Creek Cemetery, Township of Little Wolf, Waupaca County. Friends called at the funeral home in Marion from 5 until 8 P.M. Monday and after 10 A.M.
