Name released after fatal crash

The vehicle involved in Monday's fatal crash is being removed from the scene.

The Waupaca County Sheriff's Office released the name of the  driver who was killed in a rollover crash shortly after 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, south of Waupaca.

The driver was John A. Lengyel, 50, of rural Waupaca.

Lengyal was northbound on County Trunk E when he failed to negotiate a curve, lost control of his SUV, and slammed into a tree about one-quarter mile south of Lind Center Road. The SUV overturned and the sole occupant was ejected.

He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
