Names from fatal crash released

The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of the two men involved in the fatal crash that occurred shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, in the town of Bear Creek.

Gregory L. Stilen Jr., 26, of New London, was the driver of the southbound motorcycle who was killed when he collided with a car on State Highway 45 at Bear Creek Corners.

Ivan Burmeister, a 68-year-old rural Bear Creek man, was the driver of the northbound car.

Stilen was pronounced dead at the scene.
