New Dublin’s 2025 Irish events

• Monday, March 17 – Leprechaun Day
• Leprechauns change the name of the town to New Dublin for the week, entertain kids, visit the elderly and appear at various businesses.
• Tuesday, March 18 – Hooligan Day
• Corned beef and cabbage is served during the week at Pup’s Irish Pub in North Dublin (Northport) and several fine establishments in New Dublin (New London).
• Wednesday, March 19 – Irish Caroling. At 5 p.m., Irish caroling begins at St. Joseph Residence, the Washington Center and Trinity Terrace. Song sheets are provided. A great way to learn traditional Irish sing-a-longs while entertaining senior citizens. Meet at the St. Joseph’s chapel entrance.

• Thursday, March 20 – Irish Entrainment. Talented New Dublin area artists present Irish entertainment featuring songs, dances and humor or Ireland at 7 p.m. in the New London High School auditorium. The Irish Man and Irish Rose Don and Connie Laughlin, Grand Marshals April Kopitzke and Chad Hoerth and Irish Lad and Lassie will be recognized. Enjoy great family entertainment with free admission.
• Friday, March 21 – Irish Ceili. At 7 p.m. an Irish Ceili (Kay-lee) is free and open to the public at Crystal Falls Banquet Facility. This is a traditional gathering of friends and family for music and dance. Learn Irish dance steps or watch as an authentic Irish step caller, Bob Pillsbury, and Flip O’ The Coin perform. Finnegan’s Wake will also be out at several local establishments.
• Saturday, March 22 – Grand Parade and Irish Fest. The Grand Parade on Pearl and Water Streets begins at 1 p.m. downtown. Over 100 units including extensive line up of bagpipe and marching bands, festive clowns, specialty units and clan business floats and more. Bands in the big tent begin at 11 a.m. with Shemus, 1 p.m. Band O’ Barley and at 3 p.m. The Scrubbers. Entrance to the tent is $5.
