New London falls after slow start to Shawano

The New London girl’s basketball team did not get off to a good start against Shawano on January 3, falling 56-29 at home.

Shawano began the game on a 16-2 run and into halftime with a 25-7 lead. In the second half, the Bulldogs scored 22 points but were outscored by nine.

Sarah Daly led the Bulldogs in scoring with nine points, and Leah Nordin led Shawano with 16 points and nine rebounds.
