New London High School’s track team headed to Clintonville April 15 for the annual Waupaca County Meet and returned home with a pair of team championships.
The boys’ and girls’ squads placed first at the meet, which featured six of the county’s seven high schools.
The boys finished with 150 points, ahead of Iola-Scandinavia (117), Manawa (110), Weyauwega-Fremont (102), Waupaca (97) and Clintonville (79), while the girls scored 183 points, followed by Manawa (155), Weyauwega-Fremont (145), Clintonville (64), Waupaca (60) and Iola-Scandinavia (23).
