Randy L. O’Connor, age 62, of Fremont, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
He was born on February 8, 1961 in Racine, WI, the son of Robert O’Connor, Sr and Gayle Dillingham.
Randy worked at the Waupaca Foundry for 25 years until he was forced to retire due to disability. Randy loved working on his farmette and hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved pontooning on the Wolf River with his beloved daughter, Emily.
Randy is survived by his wife of 17 years and together for 29 years, Dawn; his mother, Gayle(Mort)Dillingham; step-mother, Evelyn O’Connor; two brothers, Chris(Johanna Hoboush)O’Connor and Peter O’Connor; his sister, Lisa(Tom)Lowery, good friend, Ken Howell, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Emily; his father, Robert Sr., his brother, Robert, Jr.; mother and father-in-law, Eugene and Carol Tyler, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 11:00 am-2:00 PM at Hahn-A-Lula Resort, 8861 S. Wolf River Rd., Fremont. A memorial service will be held at 1PM.
