Mark Phillip Olsen, 72, passed away at home on July 5, 2024.
He was born in New London, Wisconsin on October 10, 1951 to Alvin J. and Lola M. Olsen. He graduated from Wild Rose High School in 1969. On August 4, 1973 he was united in marriage to Debra Dishno. They would have been married 51 years in August. On April 5, 1988, they received the gift of their daughter, Megan who they had waited so long for. Megan in turn gave them the gift of their grandson, Mason. Mark’s love for them was so strong.
Mark is survived by his wife of 50 years, Deb, his daughter, Megan Olsen, his grandson, Mason Olsen, and a brother, Keith Olsen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Lola Olsen, his mother-in-law, Jane Dishno, a sister-in-law, Lori Olsen, and a brother-in-law, Dennis Dishno.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Mark’s life will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose, WI. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Caersalem Cemetery in the Town of Springwater.
