Pacelli baseball advances to sectionals

Pacelli advanced to sectionals after defeating Tigerton in the regional final on June 4.

Braeden Flaker got the scoring started for Pacelli with an RBI single to make the score 1-0 in the second inning.

Tomas Uemura made the score 2-0 in the third inning with an RBI triple. Back-to-back bases-loaded walks gave Pacelli a 4-0 lead. A run on a wild pitch gave them the 5-0 lead. Malise Beduhn hit a two-run RBI to make the score 7-0. Lucas Haemmerle gave Pacelli their final run of the game with an RBI double to put his team up 8-0.

Tigerton could only score one run in the fourth inning as Pacelli won by a final of 8-1.
