Pacelli softball finishes runner-up at state

Pacelli softball advanced to the Division 4 state title after not allowing a run in the semifinal, they could not generate offense in the championship as they finished runner-up.

MADISON- One inning and only the 13th no-hitter were the difference in the State semifinal, as Pacelli’s Peyton Mancl didn’t allow a single hit on June 12.

In the fifth inning, Pacelli got on the board as Kaydyn Nelson scored the first run, Kelsea Giese scored on an unearned run to make the score 2-0, and a sacrifice fly by Maddy Pionek made it a 3-0.

MADISON-In the Division 4 State championship on Saturday, June 14 it took until the ninth inning to decide the winner.

In the top of the ninth, Mishicot drove in a run with an RBI by Sierra Skarda, and Ella Gnadt scored to give them the Division 4 Softball state championship.
