Now owned by Clintonville native Mark Thomas, a Detroit resident, the train will be available for viewing at the History House. A complete schedule of events will be announced soon.
Kuester said the site will be manned by volunteer docents who can supply information on the items on exhibit and Clintonville History. Other special features this summer will be folk dancing lessons by Kay Kuester Doran, a talk on Clintonville Civil War veterans b y Craig Johanesen, Clintonville native and a resident of Stoughton, and music and games for children and a visit from Granny Annie, local stand up comedienne.
Watch for announcement of scheduled events and plan to visit the Pioneer Park site which includes the History House, the former Kuester residence and city hall, the Log Cabin, the cordwood house and a display of unique rocks including stones from the Wall of China.
