Pizza for Profit fundraiser

The New London DECA Chapter will be running their annual Pizza for Profit Fundraiser for their club on Wednesday, Jan. 26. DECA is a business and marketing club at the high school. Students in the club compete at a district competition every year that consists of a written test and two role plays. The students are put into business situations and have to solve problems.

The club also takes part in multiple community service projects. The club hosts Miracle Minutes at home sporting events to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy. They also visited St. Joes this fall and painted birdhouses with the residents. During the holiday season they buy gifts for two underprivileged kids. The money that is raised during Pizza for Profit will help the club pay for their district competition and other club activities.

New London DECA students will be working at Jolly Rogers Pizzeria to learn about how a business operates. If you would like to attend, please bring in this article to help raise money for DECA. A percent of the profit from your meal will be donated to DECA. DECA receives profit from dine in orders only.
