Polar Bears softball pick up win over Fond du Lac

Resuming a game that began on May 16, the Hortonville Polar Bears defeated Fond du Lac at home on May 23.

A game they picked up the action from where they last left off saw Hortonville up 2-1 in the first inning. The Polar Bears continued to stockpile runs in the first inning.

Leah Heraly gave Hortonville a 3-1 lead with an RBI single as the game moved to the second inning.

Grace Danoski had an RBI single, and Graycin Foytik had a two-run RBI in the third inning to push the score to 6-1. The Polar Bears added one more insurance run as they finished off Fon du Lac 7-1.
