Hudson 24,
SPASH 14

STEVENS POINT- SPASH took on Hudson at home in a battle of two undefeated teams.

Hudson took the early lead with a touchdown run on a quarterback keeper in the second quarter to go up 7-0.

Calvin Roth answered immediately on the kickoff return that he took 86 yards to the house to tie the score at 7-7 in the second quarter.

Hudson scored 17 unanswered points before a late touchdown made the score more respectable as SPASH lost its first game of the season.

Stratford 43,
Weyauwega-Fremont 14

WEYAUWEGA-The Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks were no match for a visiting Stratford team as they fell to 3-2 on the season.

The Warhawks kept the game competitive in the first half, responding to a Stratford touchdown with a touchdown of their own after a 49-yard touchdown run by quarterback Carter Birdyshaw, making the score 7-7.

Birdyshaw once again responded with a touchdown run that was 74 yards to make the score 14-14, but Stratford would go on to keep the Warhawks scoreless the remainder of the game.

Seymour 34,
Waupaca 14

WAUPACA-The Comets lost their fifth game of the season as they were defeated by a visiting Seymour team.

Seymour took an early 14-0 lead before the Comets cut the deficit in half with a five-yard touchdown run by Ryder Vergauwen to make the score 14-7.

The Comets could not slow down Seymour as they scored 20 unanswered points to go up 34-7 before Waupaca would punch in a late touchdown to make the final score 34-14.

Appleton North 26
Hortonville 14

APPLETON-The Hortonville Polar Bears fell to 0-5 as they lost on the road to the Appleton North Lightning.

It took until the second half before either team could get on the scoreboard, but the Polar Bears could not keep pace with Appleton North.

Junior Jack Holdren would score two rushing touchdowns for Hortonville to go with 66 yards rushing.

Oconto Falls 52,
Clintonville 0

OCONTO FALLS-Clintonville Truckers dropped their fifth game of the season as they traveled to Oconto Falls.

The game was out of reach for the Truckers by halftime as they went down 36-0 at the end of the first half.

This was the third game in a row that the Truckers failed to put any points on the board.

Crivitz 42,
Manawa 0

MANAWA- After winning their first game of the season the week prior, Manawa fell to Crivitz at home.

Crivitz scored an early touchdown before a lightning delay stopped the action, but that didn’t slow them down as they got up 35-0 at halftime.
