David L. Reinert
Of New London, age 58, passed away on January 28, 2025. He was born on September 2, 1966 to the late Vilas and Carol (Fietzer) Reinert. He fought a long hard battle with cancer.
Dave resided in New London his entire life. He had various jobs with the latest being the City of New London. He also worked for the Town of Mukwa as a constable and raft inspector until he was no longer able. His passion in life was fishing and listening to Polka.
He will be sadly missed by his longtime partner: Elaine Van De Hey; daughter; Elaine’s son: Bob Van De Hey; sister: Lori (Greg) Genske; brother: Edward (special friend, Luzil) Reinert; Aunt: Carolyn Fietzer; nephew: Zachary; special friend: Dave Christian; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Meadowbrook and Bristol Hospice.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
