Rockets battle Comets

CLINTONVILLE - The St. Martin Rockets battled against the St. Paul Bonduel Comets on Friday, Feb. 4. The Girls B team pulled out a win, 54-6. Autumn Voigt helped the team with 20 points, Caitlin Carpenter scored 14, Nicole Siefeldt put in eight points, and Danee Collier and Jade Czarnecki both dropped in four.

The Girls A team lost a tough battle 23-53. Voigt dropped in 12, Czarnecki put in three, and Chrissy Betz, Collier, Siefeldt , and Carpenter all netted two.

The Boys B team struggled through a loss, 35-44. Nathan Krueger scored 14, Joshua Schroeder dropped in eight, Tanner LaViolette added nine points, and Mathew Carpenter earned four.

The Boys A team lost a brutal bout, 59-38. Nick Hogen scored 11 big ones, Damon Lorge dropped in 10, Bill Collier put in six, and Keaton Kubitz scored four. Maison Purrell, Todd Taylor, and Krueger all scored two points, and Zac Reimer hit a free throw.

The next tipoff is at St Paul, Bonduel, for the Girls A and B Conference Tournament on Friday, Feb. 11 and Saturday, Feb. 12.
