Posted

Sandra Mae Schultz, age 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Sun Valley Assisted Living in New London.

She was born on March 4, 1939, daughter of the late Oscar and Myrtle (Smith) Klemp.

On July 24, 1965, Sandra married Reinhold Schultz. Sandra was a graduate of Clintonville High School class of 1957. She worked for AAL for many years. She and Reinhold loved to go bowling and spent many years as members of a couple’s bowling league. Sandra enjoyed spending her time socializing, going out to eat with family and friends, watching her favorite TV shows, and playing games and cards. Sandra looked forward to the annual Klemp reunion and loved spending time with her cousins. She also enjoyed crafting in her free time. One of her greatest passions in life was being a grandma to her two grandchildren. Sandra will be remembered for her contagious laugh and kind heart. She gravitated towards like minded individuals who held no judgment in their heart. She was kind and accepting to all and always put the wellbeing of her family and friends before her own.

Sandra is survived by her son, Jeff (Mandy) Schultz; grandchildren: Jake and Henry Schultz; sister, Joanne (Ed) Gehrt; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Rueben and Patti Schultz. She is further survived by her nieces and nephew: Michele, Ellyn, Tom, and Amy; and her good friend, Keran Hovind.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Reinhold; and infant sister, Mary Rose.
