Zachary Jeidy-Pacelli

Pacelli is battling to become the Central Wisconsin-South conference champions in 2025. A key reason for their success is 2023-2024 Honorable Mention Zachary Jeidy, who has become a standout player in the conference, averaging a double-double with 11 points and grabbing 11.4 rebounds, which is good for second in the conference.

Jeidy became involved in playing basketball in the third grade at the age of eight, as he played NBA 2K and then became involved in organized basketball.

The camaraderie of the sport is the key reason for Zachary sticking with the sport for so long, “Playing with my friends, it’s very fun to spend time with my friends and build life-long bonds with one another.”

Zachary is an athlete who puts student in student-athlete first as he keeps his focus on his studies,” I focus on academics first, and when I’m done with my studies, I get ready for athletics.”

Standing at 6 feet 5 inches tall, Jeidy Jeidy that his height gives him mismatches against his opponents, “The thing that helps me the most is my height, it gives me an advantage over smaller players.”

Jeidy’s most memorable experiences from basketball that he will take with him are his game winning shot at the state tournament and his time spent with his teammates, “bus rides back, win or lose, it is great to be able to spend time with your friends and remember the conversations we had.”

Looking back Jeidy sees his growth through four years of high school,” It’s crazy to think that I’ve gotten so far in just four years, Never would have thought that I would be the person I am today.”
