Kaitlyn Klismith-SPASH

Starting in 2022 through 2024 the SPASH Panthers have compiled a record of 65-20 and have made three deep runs to at least an appearance in the sectionals in each of the three seasons. The key piece in all three seasons is senior Kaitlyn Klismith, who has been named a First Team All-State member in all three seasons.

Kaitlyn’s parents, Beth and Jason, introduced her to the sport at the age of four. She has stuck with it long enough to see herself become one of the best players in the state. “ My favorite part is the competition, and I’ve stuck with it for so long because of all the friendships I’ve made and continue to make.”

Kaitlyn credits her speed as her best asset on the field. She looks back at her freshman campaign as her most memorable so far, “My whole freshman year was the most memorable because of how far we made it in playoffs and being given such a great opportunity to start on varsity as a Freshman.” 

Klismith also credits coaches she has had along the way Coach Drohner, Roger Schliewe and Scott Clark.

“It feels unreal to think that I am already a senior and high school is over. I wouldn’t trade it for anything and am so proud of the person I’ve become from it.” Kaitlyn says of her personal growth from freshman to sophomore season.
