The Amherst Falcons are off to a strong start in the 2025 soccer season with a 6-2-1 record. Last year, they finished 20-4 and reached the regional final.

Senior leader Milo Graham is back after earning All-Conference honors in 2024, scoring 27 goals and adding 12 assists.

Milo looks back on how he got started in soccer. His dad introduced him to the game when he was four, and he says his teammates are a big reason he loves playing. “My favorite part about soccer is my teammates. They have helped me grow as a person and an athlete.”

Continuing to discuss his playing strengths, Milo contributes his high soccer I.Q. to his success on the field: “I believe my biggest asset is my hard work and understanding of the game.”

Along with his achievements in soccer, Milo has learned how to manage his schoolwork. He says finding time for classes has helped him do well. “When I was a freshman, it was hard for me to keep up with all my classes and missing days for away games, but as I got older, I got better at balancing academics and my athletics.”

Some of the best memories Milo has made during his time in high school have come on the field, “scoring a late-minute goal to win 1-0 and to keep Amherst in the playoffs,” or after a big win, “The bus ride back after taking a win over Arcadia last year.”

Milo shouts out the coaches who helped him get where he is, “I would like to give a shout out to my two high school coaches who put in a lot of work for our team, and my dad for coaching my club team this summer, even with his busy schedule.”

In his last season for Amherst, Milo gets clarity before every match: “I try to just stay calm and remember all the work I put in to get to where I am.”
