STEVENS POINT—On June 10, Thomas A. Soik will be released to a Stevens Point residence.
Thomas A. Soik exchanged emails with undercover law enforcement who he believed to be a 15-year-old male and asked for photos of the child’s face and penis. He was detained at the meet location by law enforcement, and a search of his computer showed thousands of images of child pornography. Images included minor females engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
In another incident, the offender exposed himself to a 12-year-old female while at the park. He approached the minor female, pulled his shorts to the side, exposing his penis.
Thomas A. Soik will be releasing to Stevens Point, WI, with an address available following his release from incarceration. He will be placed on supervision with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC) and monitored by Probation agents with the Division of Community Corrections, in Portage County. Thomas A. Soik is also subject to lifetime GPS monitoring.
Thomas A. Soik has additional conditions to not have any unsupervised contact with minors, no contact with the victims, and not to consume drugs. Soik is to comply with the standard sex offender rules and cooperate with electronic monitoring. Soik is to have face-to-face contact with law enforcement and comply with all requirements and is a lifetime registrant of the Wisconsin sex offender registry.

Thomas A. Soik is a white male, weighing 120 pounds and is five feet and six inches tall. Soik is 64 years old with brown eyes and gray to partially gray hair.
