SPASH softball picks up road win at Wausau West

SPASH Panthers softball proved too much for Wausau West as they got a 7-1 victory on the road on May 13.

A bases-loaded walk delivered the first run for the Panthers and a wild pitch brought in the second run. Addi Peske drove in two more runs to score and extend the lead to 4-0.

Jordan Roth put SPASH up 5-0 after a single drove in a run in the top of the fourth inning.

Claire Calmes launched a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth inning to give Wausau West their lone run.

Aubree Itzen drove in the sixth run of the ball game with a double in the top of the seventh inning.

Sophia Abundiz drove in the seventh and final run as she hit an RBI single.
