SPASH wins in decisive three sets

Stevens Point volleyball dominated Wausau East in three sets, as they won at home on Sep. 11.

SPASH got the early lead as they went up 13-8 in the first set and continued to pressure Wausau East as they went up 19-12.

Building on their momentum, SPASH finished off the set, winning 25-12 to go up 1-0 over Wausau East.

The second set saw SPASH continue their strong play, quickly jumping to a 19-6 lead and securing the set 25-8.

Leah Awe on the team victory, “It was definitely a team effort, all the plays go into it, and just being able to have all the right pieces to hit the ball.”

Completing their dominant performance, SPASH swept all three sets, winning the third and final set by a score of 25-13.
