Spring cleaning provides donations

Posted
The Weyauwega-Fremont FCCLA and the high school's Family and Consumer Science Department ask local residents to think about them when they do their spring cleaning. Instead of throwing items away, some of them can be donated.

Both accept the following donations throughout the school year:

? Pop tabs, which are used to make an annual donations to the Ronald McDonald House.

? Fabric and material for middle and high school sewing labs.

? New and gently used stuffed animals that are then donated to local fire, police and ambulance departments.

? Plastic containers for use in food labs.

? New and gently used clothing, jackets, footwear (all sizes), school supplies and personal care/hygiene items for the Donation Room.

? Piggly Wiggly receipts - they are no longer accepted at the store for the Piggy Bank. Receipts for FCCLA should be dropped off at the high school for redemption.
