• May 2 – Officers were dispatched to Brilowski Road to conduct a welfare check on a male that was seen in an office building mumbling to himself.
• May 2 – A car was seen on Division Street and Maria Drive with occupants throwing trash and objects at other vehicles.
• May 3 – A woman stated she was coming out of Pete’s Sports Bar when it appeared a female was outside waiting for her. She said the female began yelling at her and asking for her name.
• May 3 – A woman was dropping hundreds of pamphlets on courthouse property. She picked them up after being told she could be cited.
• May 3 – Officers responded to the intersection of Welsby Avenue and Center Street for a couch that was being burned at a party.
• May 4 – Officers were dispatched to Kim’s Barrel Inn for reports of a male who refused to leave the property. The male was intoxicated and arguing with the bartender. The male was arrested ten minutes later for OWI First Offense.
• May 4 – A complaint was made that stated a male was seen in the library’s parking lot with a firearm.
• May 4 – A male called and requested to remain anonymous. The male wanted to inform officers that he was being harassed by the mayor of Stevens Point, Mike Wiza.
• May 4 – A caller lost their phone at the Congress Club the night prior and now purchased were being made on their Amazon account.
• May 5 – A male was walking on the interstate in an attempt to get to Wausau to pick up medication. He was aided in his travels to Wausau.
• May 5 – An officer responded to Illinois Avenue for an unconscious and not breathing male. Upon arrival found the officer found the male located at the bottom of a set of stairs.
• May 5 – A scooter was reported stolen from a Franklin Street residence.
• May 5 – A male was found unconscious on Fourth Avenue in the grass with beer cans around him.
• May 5 – A FedEx truck clipped a low hanging wire on Sunset Boulevard and Green Avenue. WPS responded and tightened the wire.
• May 5 – A caller stated she paid $590 for a dog on Facebook but was provided a false address upon pickup.
• May 5 – An officer responded to Division Street’s BP gas station for retail theft.
• May 5 – Employees at an assisted living facility explained that a resident had a UTI and had been acting out. The employees stated that the resident was trying to use a fire extinguisher on someone else, smashed a TV on the ground, and was messing with windows.
• May 5 – Officers responded to Kwik Trip on Maria Drive for a report of a bald, white male that was cussing at customers and yelling at them.
• May 5 – A caller stated someone was attempting to get into their window, but couldn’t give a description. The caller stated he saw a tool and another person.
• May 5 – A male was reported to be walking around the mechanical room of the municipal pool and would not leave when asked.
• May 6 – A welfare check was conducted on a female walking home from the hospital who stated she wanted to get home before she got too hot. She said she did not need a ride.
• May 6 – A SPASH student was attempting to park his vehicle when he struck another vehicle in a neighboring stall. There was damage to the front passenger side of each vehicle.
• May 6 – A property crime was reported to have occurred at Goodwill on Highway 10.
• May 6 – Officers were dispatched to Fleet Farm for reports of a physical disturbance between six individuals.
• May 7 – A caller reported an unwanted female was pounding on their door and wanted her removed. The female allegedly was making threats.
• May 7 – An anonymous individual reported a vehicle passed him using the bike lake on West Clark Street. The vehicle that passed him drove into Point of Discovery School, where the anonymous individual began recording the vehicle and the vehicle’s driver began recording the anonymous caller.
• May 7 – A homeless individual was dropped off in Stevens Point by his caseworker from Green Bay. The individual has no ties to Stevens Point and nowhere to go. The individual believes a man is sending people into the Stevens Point Public Library to spy on him and that the man is “smelling the air near him.”
• May 7 – A vehicle was found running and unlocked at Goerke Park with plastic sheets and rubber gloves found in the trunk.
• May 7 – A female at Kwik Trip on Church Street got into a shouting match with the staff. She was advised she is no longer allowed in any Kwik Trip in the city of Stevens Point.
• May 7 – Two calls were reported for a man walking around on a ramp on Highway 10 looking for his cell phone that was lost when left on top of his vehicle.
• May 8 – A vehicle was reported to have been sitting in the parking lot of Rocky Rococo’s for over two hours with its’ headlights on at 1:19 a.m.
• May 8 – An officer was dispatched to McKinley Elementary School following reports of a male biking around the school and pretending to shoot at students with his fingers.
• May 8 – An officer made contact with three homeless individuals residing in the tunnel by the Stevens Point Public Library to advise them that the area contained a “no loitering” sign.
• May 8 – Two women took clothes belonging to another woman from Seahorse Laundry, and then returned them three days later. The caller is still deciding whether to press charges.
• May 8 – A caller’s 22-year-old grandson was on drugs and acting out on Jefferson Street.
• May 9 – A male was informed he is trespassed from all area Kwik Tips.
