• May 9 – A man came to the Stevens Point Police Department to report social security fraud.
• May 9 – A male who did not want to identify himself fell off his bike and was lying on the ground. He denied medical attention but officers provided him with medical tape and gauze. • May 9 – A caller from the Emergency Department at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital reported a patient was uncooperative and threatened hospital staff.
• May 9 – A caller reported a college house on Main Street was having a party with a “you honk, we drink” sign.
• May 9 – A caller reported alarms going off at McKinley Elementary School and stated they saw kids entering the school on bikes.
• May 9 – An intoxicated homeless man was sitting outside The Store on West Whitney Street while charging his phone. The officer did not recognize the man and he would not identify himself.
• May 9 – Officers were dispatched to College Avenue to search for a 16-year-old autistic male who walked away from his home. He was located and turned over to his father.
• May 10 – A female who overdosed on fentanyl was transported to receive medical care.
• May 10 – A traffic stop on Briggs Street and Division Street led to a female’s arrest for OWI and a warrant.
• May 10 – An intoxicated man was vomiting on the sidewalk downtown. Graffiti’s Bar and Grill employees assisted the officer in walking the man to the squad car to receive a ride to his residence. The man had to be reassured several times he was not being arrested.
• May 10 – A caller reported a noise complaint on McCulloch Street for a rooster calling.
• May 10 – Retail theft was reported at Fleet Farm.
• May 10 – A college party was advised to quiet down or face fines on College Avenue.
• May 10 – Officers were dispatched to West Pearl Street for roommates who were engaged in a verbal argument. One male was then arrested on a probation warrant.
• May 11 – An officer was dispatched to Heritage Drive for a male receiving text messages threatening to expose him for communicating with escorts.
• May 11 – A male and female were at Ski’s Meat Market, the female was intoxicated and asked to leave after denying an ambulance. The male was told to finish their shopping.
• May 11 – Officers responded to Fourth Avenue to a report of a female yelling for help and telling someone to get away from her. Officers made contact with the female who stated she was yelling because her ex had showed up at her residence.
• May 12 – An officer responded to a report of a fire. Upon arrival the officer met a man who had a fire contained within a small metal ring. The man was slowly burning old clothes and was tending the fire, but was advised to hold off on burning more clothes due to the high fire danger.
• May 12 – Officers were dispatched to Water Street for reports of a 23-year-old man who had burned his things and was walking down the road flailing his arms.
• May 12 – One male and one female were arrested on Minnesota Avenue for Disorderly Conduct Simple Assault with a Domestic Enhancer.
• May 12 – A woman on Lincoln Avenue reportedly smashed the back windshield of a car.
• May 13 – A suspicious male was reported to be acting unruly inside Swetz Roadside Convenience on Division Street. The employee caller reported that the day prior he had taken a drink without paying.
• May 13 – A caller reported that someone was in her garage looking for something. She believed it could possibly be a male who once stored a fishing pole there at some point after seeing his Snapchat location near her residence.
• May 13 – A 70-year-old woman asked officers to document that a 51-year-old woman was spreading rumors about her and harassing others.
• May 14 – Two females walking on Division Street reported that a male dressed in all black started running at them. When they stated that they would call the police, the male ran away.
• May 14 – Stevens Point Police Department and the Stevens Point Fire Department responded to the Family Crisis Center to assists in an ambulance call.
• May 14 – A caller reported that two males were smoking outside her daughter’s window. The caller stated her daughter is pregnant. The caller was upset that the landlord would not do anything due to the smoking males not being tenants. The caller stated the males laughed at her daughter.
• May 14 – A caller advised dispatch that her parents were victims to a Publisher’s Clearing House scam that cost them $10,000.
• May 14 – Officers spoke with a male who said he saw a man tell a child that he would “kick him in the ass.” The male stated the man was white and the child was black. The male said he saw nothing physical happen.
• May 15 – One male was arrested for retail theft at Kwik Trip on Maria Drive.
• May 15 – Officers were dispatched to Point of Discovery School for a disturbance.
• May 15 – A caller reported seeing a male carrying an AK-47 in a parking lot on Centerpoint Drive.
• May 15 – A caller on Fourth Avenue reported that her ex-boyfriend and his mother took items from her residence.
• May 15 – Officers responded to Washington Avenue for reports of a male looking in windows.
• May 15 – After a traffic stop, a 54-year-old male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia following a K-9 indication and search of the vehicle.
• May 15 – A caller advised that she had heard a thud and then a goose making a loud noise on Riverview Avenue. She stated that she had seen two high school aged males nearby laughing and that she believes they may have done something to the goose.
• May 15 – An intoxicated male at Mead Park was involved in a physical altercation and required an ambulance.
• May 15 – A male requested a welfare check for a woman at the Salvation Army, he believed she was abused by her boyfriend.
• May 16 – A bag of suspected methamphetamine was recovered from Kwik Trip on Church Street.
