• June 13 – Officers took a report of a civil matter between Kent’s towing and an individual.
• June 13 – A 37-year-old female reported that someone she has a restraining order against had a family member show up at her property.
• June 13 – An officer responded to Prentice Street for a trespass complaint.
• June 13 – A man reported that he had gone to the emergency room due to seizure-like symptoms and reported that hospital staff told him to stop using meth. This was shocking to the man as he stated he does not use meth and was wondering if they were telling him to start and then stop. The officer informed the man they were not telling him to start using meth.
• June 13 – A male was arrested for disorderly conduct at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital on Illinois Avenue.
• June 14 – A woman reported that her landlord next-door threw lawn waste into her yard.
• June 14 – A man wanted to report that he could smell marijuana from his neighbor’s residence downstairs on Bukolt Avenue.
• June 14 – A man reported that his home was egged on Clark Street.
• June 14 – A man was reported to have been looking through vehicles in the parking lot across from Chase Bank on Main Street. He denied doing so to officers.
• June 14 – A fraudulent bill was received at Pineries Bank.
• June 14 – A male was arrested on a Waukesha County warrant during a traffic stop.
• June 14 – A man wanted to inform officers of a post on the “Cychos for Clerk” Facebook page. The officer did not observe any threats or illegal content in the post. The man was concerned about the post allegedly sharing information about where a minor attends school.
• June 14 – A traffic stop for wrong-way driving on a one-way street was cited for multiple offenses including two criminal traffic tickets.
• June 15 – A highly intoxicated woman was reportedly seen attempting to open her vehicle window with a plastic butter knife in downtown Stevens Point on The Square.
• June 15 – Officers located a deceased snapping turtle on its back on I-39 between Stanley Street and Highway 10 East.
• June 15 – Officers received a call about a person sleeping in the Band Shell but according to the report, contact would not be made with the person.
• June 15 – A group of kids were found behind Hobby Lobby causing a “ruckus.”
• June 16 – Neighbors on Michigan Avenue were looking for a lost dog.
• June 16 – An 89-year-old man went into the Probation and Parole Office on Maple Bluff Road and demanded an individual be let out of jail. He was escorted out of the office by staff and was requested to be trespassed.
• June 16 – A woman wanted to report that the person who owns property next to her continues to ask her to cut down a tree that is on the woman’s property. The woman told her no, but is now selling her property, leading her neighbor to call the realtor asking about the tree.
• June 16 – Officers responded to Dixon Street for a hit-and-run.
• June 16 – Officers responded to Main Street for a stolen flag. There was no suspect at the time of the report.
• June 16 – Officers were dispatched to John Joanis Drive for a report of a stolen iPad.
• June 17 – Officers responded to Whiting Avenue for a house fire originating from the kitchen.
• June 17 – Officers were dispatched to Second Street for reports of individuals pounding on doors and causing a disturbance.
• June 17 – An officer spoke to three 10 to 12-year-olds about a complaint regarding them running up and down Chickadee Lane and riding electric scooters while honking horns.
• June 17 – Officers responded to Bills Pizza for a vehicle fire. No major damage was done to buildings and no parties were injured.
• June 17 – A man was upset because a woman was yelling about a court order served to her. Both parties were advised to remain civil.
• June 17 – Officers located a vehicle at Metro Market on Pinecrest Avenue that contained dogs. The vehicle’s windows were down six to eight inches and the officer noted “the dogs looked ok.” The officer talked to the owner about leaving the air conditioner on for the dogs, having someone stay in the car with the dogs or leaving the dogs at home.
• June 17 – A man fell of his bike after hitting a pothole near Kwik Trip on Old Highway 18. City streets were advised to fill the pothole as soon as possible as this was the second traffic-related incident regarding it.
• June 17 – A woman reported that she was notified by her mechanic that her tires had been lost. The mechanic believes the wheels had been almost removed.
• June 17 – Teenagers were located in the parking lot of Hobby Lobby having issues with a broken-down vehicle.
• June 17 – A traffic stop on Main Street resulted in the driver being arrested on drug-related charges.
• June 17 – Officers responded to Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital ICU for a male patient being disorderly and spitting on hospital staff. They did not wish to pursue charges but wanted the incident documented.
• June 18 – An officer responded to Bush Court to inform a male that his advances were unwanted. The male stated he was just being neighborly.
• June 18 – A male reported that there was a mix-up between gift cards that he received at Fleet Farm.
• June 18 – A 59-year-old female was upset because her 65-year-old friend wanted to hang out with a group of friends, rather than just the two of them.
• June 18 – An officer contacted a man on Division Street who said he loves Stevens Point and plans on remaining a homeless citizen. He was informed of the “rules” of where he can and cannot reside.
•June 19 – An individual rented a room at Blue Top on Church Street on Booking.com, upon checking out they left many belongings behind.
• June 19 – Officers responded to a residence on Highway 10 for a male slumped over in a vehicle.
• June 19 – Officers were on foot patrol in Pfiffner Park. A male subject with an open misdemeanor case was observed drinking an alcoholic beverage against his rules of bond. One male was arrested.
• June 19 – Officers were dispatched to Johns Drive for reports of a four-year-old child being choked.
• June 19 – Officers responded to Church Street for a report of stolen medication.
