• March 21 – Officers arrived to Elbow Room bar for a report of an altercation with parties that were “highly intoxicated.”
• March 21 – A shoplifting complaint was reported at Target on Highway 10. Target staff apprehended the suspect, who was then cited.
• March 21 – Officers attempted to conduct a welfare check on a couple who were believed to be in a physical altercation last night, with the caller believing the male had harmed the female. Officers were unable to make contact with anyone at the residence, but spoke with a neighbor who stated the couple had been “arguing louder than usual” the prior night.
• March 21 – An 18-year-old male reported his vehicle was possibly stolen. He stated he was storing it in Shawano County over the winter, and believed a friend traded his vehicle away to a Stevens Point resident. He stated the current individual in possession of the vehicle may not even realize it is considered stolen.
• March 21 – A woman was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct (with a domestic enhancer) after cutting the window screen of an ex-boyfriend’s residence.
• March 21 – Two juveniles were riding their bicycles with their Orbeez Blasters (a toy gun that shoots gel water beads). However, a caller reported that the two juveniles were riding around with handguns. Upon contact, officers were shown the toy guns and the inside of their backpacks to ensure they did not have handguns.
• March 21 – A caller reported a disturbance on Division Street near Tommy’s Express Car Wash. Upon arrival, officers located five males who were having a snowball fight and in good spirits.
• March 22 – A disturbance was reported at the La Quinta Inn that detailed two individuals who were arguing. One individual grabbed the other’s arm. Both parties were arrested for disorderly conduct and a probation hold.
• March 22 – Two children were described as missing from Comfort Suites on Division Street. Officers called several adult guardians and discovered the children were found safe with their father who had not been answering calls from other adults.
• March 22 – A 47-year-old man was arrested on Fifth Avenue on multiple charges including burglary.
• March 22 – A man was described as running around in the road by Elk Street and holding a bottle of “liquids” while looking for a friend’s house. Upon arrival, officers located the man who did not have a bottle of “liquids” but did have a smell of alcohol.
• March 23 – A call about a disturbance between a male and female led to the arrest of the male for disorderly conduct with a domestic abuse enhancer.
• March 23 – A bicycle was possibly stolen from an individual that resides at the Salvation Army.
• March 23 – A woman was found passed out in the Kwik Trip bathroom on Church Street. She was medically transported and charged with one count of felony bail jumping and two misdemeanor counts of bail jumping.
• March 23 – A male requested a welfare check on children. The officers advised him that after conducting the welfare check, the kids seemed to be okay. The male then became “belligerent with officer after being informed of results.” The male stated he had video of the parent yelling at the child.
• March 24 – A report of a marijuana smell led officers to make contact with a woman who’s apartment was believed to be emitting the odor. The officer noted the woman seemed normal and her children in good spirits, with no smell of marijuana coming from her residence. The officer noted the area in a vestibule between two units smelled “very musty” and a “faint odor of marijuana.”
• March 25 – A camp of tents and blankets were found behind a Church Street business. Officers advised the caller that the camp and belongings can be discarded since they were abandoned.
• March 25 – Officers located an intoxicated woman who was stumbling into the road. She was then provided a ride him.
• March 25 – Officers were dispatched to a disturbance call that included a male screaming at a female. Upon arrival, officers found the male was yelling at his bike.
• March 25 – An 18-year-old and 19-year-old were issued citations for underage drinking.
• March 26 – A tent was located in the woods off Whiting Avenue. It was deemed abandoned property and thrown away.
• March 26 – A caller reported that their driver side front tire had been deflated while she was Door-Dashing, after she had parked in a non-customer’s driveway.
• March 26 – Officers responded to the area of Chase Bank for a welfare check on an elderly male. The male requested and received transportation to the hospital for injuries.
