Sturm Memorial Library offers Preschool Story Time for children ages 2-5.
The program begins at 10:30 a.m. most Thursdays in January, February, April, May, July, August, October and November.
Preschool Story Time uses The Very Ready Reading Program, designed to introduce parents, caregivers and children to the building blocks every child needs for speech and reading.
There are seven things that can be done every day to help with a child’s early literacy development. They are as easy as sharing books, sounds, words, rhymes, songs, stories and playtime.
Babygarten will also resume for infants and children up to 2 years old and their caregivers who will share nursery rhymes, songs, finger plays, bounces and books. The session always concludes with a free play period.
No registration is required for either program.
