Shiocton swept a doubleheader from Iola-Scandinavia Monday, May 16, in a Central Wisconsin 8 Conference baseball matchup.
Meanwhile, the Thunderbirds finally made it into the win column Tuesday, May 10, with a 4-3 win over Manawa.
Shiocton won the first game in Shiocton 2-1 before taking the second 10-6.
The T-Birds outhit Manawa 7-4. D.J. Loken went the distance to get the win on the mound and finished with six strikeouts and two walks.
Loken and Brady Huettner led the T-Birds at the plate with two hits each.
The T-Birds hosted Stevens Point Pacelli Tuesday, May 17, in a rescheduled game and will play at home against Amherst at 4:30 p.m. today (Thursday, May 19). The two teams will face each other again at 9 a.m Saturday, May 21, in Amherst.
