A balanced offensive attack by the Truckers led to a 57-52 victory over the Luxemburg-Casco Spartans on Friday, Dec.13.
The Truckers took the early lead 26-20 as senior Sam Wegener buried a three-point shot in the first half.
Bryar Hagberg was fed the ball in the post early and finished the game with 15 points for the Truckers.
Wegener held on to the ball at the top of the key in the closing minute of the first half. The seconds ticked down, and Wegener drove into the lane and kicked out to an open teammate, who hit a buzzer-beating three-point shot to send the Truckers into the locker room with a 29-20 lead.
In the second half, Truckers Jaxson Baribeau connected on three three-pointers to help ice the game away for Clintonville.
The Truckers’ next game will be on the road against Wrightstown on Dec. 17.
