The Weyauwega-Fremont FFA Chapter was named the winning State FFA Quiz Bowl team.
The High School Quiz Bowl Leadership Development Event (LDE) was held at the 95th State Convention of the Wisconsin Association of FFA in Madison.
The Weyauwega-Fremont advisors are Connie Peterson and Jessica Magdanz.
To qualify for the state finals, Weyauwega-Fremont competed in several other contests including district contest, sectional contest, and finally the state semi-finals in Madison.
The FFA High School Quiz Bowl LDE allows ninth through 12th-grade FFA members to demonstrate their FFA knowledge and skills in answering questions about FFA programs, history, activities and leaders.
The Bay Port FFA Chapter was the state runner up.
The State FFA Quiz Bowl LDE is sponsored at the state level by Compeer Financial.
