Two points.
That’s all that kept the Weyauwega-Fremont wrestling team from winning the Central Wisconsin Conference meet.

W-F had three individual champions in Carter Greening (106 pounds), Cian Fischer (120) and Justin Kempf (132).

The Indians’ Easton Groskreutz and Ean Marker also made it to the finals at 113 and 145, respectively. Groskreutz fell to Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s Chad Moegenburg 8-6 and Marker dropped an 18-2 technical fall to Shiocton’s Levi Snortum.

Manawa did not have any wrestlers in championship matches, but had a pair of third-place finishers and two more that finished fourth.
Kevin Klemm picked up a 9-4 win over Bonduel’s Luis Lagunes at 113 and Rosholt’s Ryan Konkol forfeited his third-place match at 170 to Zack Johnson.
Rosholt’s Bo Niewiadomski defeated Manawa’s Colten Klemm 4-2 in the third-place match at 106 and Menominee Indian’s Alfred Hernandez pinned Tyler Pynenberg in 1:46 in the third-place match at 126.
