Warhawks earn scholarships

WEYAUWEGA – The Taylor Kennedy Folk scholarship award winners are Luz Chavez-Gomez and Olivia Witkowski of the Weyauwega-Fremont graduating class of 2025
Chavez-Gomez will attend Columbia University this fall, majoring in biology on a pre-med track. She plans to become a family physician and is passionate about returning to her community to provide accessible, compassionate care to those who need it most.
Witkowski will attend the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire to pursue a degree in nursing. With a heart for service, she hopes to provide high-quality care to all individuals, regardless of their background or financial status.
