In the final two weeks of the regular season, Weyawega-Fremont defeated Manawa 84-0, Pittsville 68-12, Menominee Indian 78-6, Wittenberg-Birnamwood 57-15, Amherst 83-0, and Little Chute 82-0 in dual meets. The Warhawks finished the season 9-0 in the conference and outscored their opponents 647-62. Warhawks finished the regular season 23-1 in duals.
In the tournament competition, Weyauwega-Fremont won the 22-team Ladysmith Invitational on Jan 18. To win the tournament, Warhawks put seven wrestlers in the finals, and every wrestler on the team placed in the top 10 out of 22 schools.
On the same day, Weyauwega-Fremont split the team and sent seven wrestlers to Fox Valley Lutheran to compete in an 8-team tournament.
Of those seven wrestlers, four of them took first place, one took second, one took third, and another fourth place, and the team won that tournament as well.
The final regular season tournament of the year was on Jan. 25 at Sheboygan North High School in a 29-team tournament. The team again mixed up the line-up, sending seven regular varsity wrestlers and six varsity reserves to get them quality tournament matches. The team placed 4th in the tournament and got all the kids the quality matches they needed for the post-season run.
