Waupaca Comets defeat Medford in four sets

Waupaca Comets volleyball got their 11th win of the season as they defeated Medford at home on Sept. 18.

The Comets found themselves in an early hole as they went down a set after a 25-22 loss to Medford.

Waupaca responded in the second set, jumping out to a 13-6 lead. The Comets finished strong, winning the set 25-19 with a kill from Peyton Carlson.

With the match tied, the third set was a back-and-forth contest as both teams were tied 20-20. The Comets started to take command as they went on a 5-0

run, capped off by a kill by Carlson that won them the set 25-20.
In another tightly contested set, the Comets won 25-21 to take the fourth set and the match.
