Waupaca man faces coke charges

Posted
Cyril A. Franz, 28, Waupaca, was charged May 6 with four felony counts of delivery of cocaine.

Franz is accused of selling cocaine in amounts ranging from one-eighth to one-quarter of an ounce to a police informant on four separate occasions in January 2009. The four sales totaled $1,345, according to the criminal complaint.

If convicted, Franz could serve a maximum of 15 years in prison. Because he was convicted of selling marijuana in March 2001, the court can sentence Franz to an additional four years in prison.
