Weyauwega man charged with felony OWI

On April 23, Waupaca County Sheriff's Deputy Clint Thobaben was dispatched to the scene of a crash on County Road N in Little Wolf.

When he arrived at the scene, Thobaben found a pickup truck that had crashed into some pine trees. Hotvedt was in the driver's seat and appeared intoxicated.

Hotvedt was previously convicted of drunken driving offenses in June 1989, November 1989, June 1996, July 1996, March 1998 and September 2003. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
