Harold H. Wolf, age 85 of the Town of Pella, Shawano County, passed away peacefully in his sleep

Saturday morning July 20, 2024, at the Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center in Clintonville.

Harold Henry Wolf was born to Henry and Emma (Siegel) Wolf on October 15th 1938 at their home in Pella. In his early years he went to Fairview School and later Marion High School. He then joined the Wisconsin National Guard and following his return took over the family farm along with his new wife Verl (Krueger). The couple had 2 children, Darrell and Loriann. Harold loved polka music as well as Farmall and IH tractors. He and Verl went to many polka dances and tractor shows over the years. One of his hobbies included his farm display which he created including barns, a house, a church and even a replica of the Caroline ballroom. He recently donated the display to the Marion Historical society and in turn they celebrated him and his display this past June. Harold was one of the organizers of the annual Shawano County Tractor Pull at the Shawano County Fair where he enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors. He was a member of the Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville as he comfortably placed his faith in our Lord.

Harold is survived by His Daughter: Loriann (Karl) List, Grandchildren: Matthew and Ashley List, a Sister Dorothy Poppe, Sisters-in-Law Glorianne Kuschel and Jane Krueger and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his very special caregiver Dawn Papendorf and special friend Vera. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Verl in 2012, son Darrell, borthers-in-law Jim Poppe, Jerry Kuschel and Norman Krueger.

Harold’s funeral service will be held Friday July 26, 2024 at 11am at the Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville with Rev. Shelly Klemp officiating. Interment will follow at the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in Pella. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9am until the time of the service.
