As Kwik Trip gets ready to open its new store in downtown Waupaca, it is interested in donating the old store’s property to the city.
The new Kwik Trip store located at 12 W. Madison Street in Clintonville opens at 5 a.m. Thursday, July 26.
The New London Area Chamber of Commerce (NLACC) has moved from its old office at 301 E. Beacon Avenue to its new location at 420 N. Shawano Street. The Chamber now occupies the former Kwik Trip building, which was extensively renovated.

The former Kwik Trip building located at 420 N. Shawano St. was donated to the City of New London just a few months ago. It was then offered by the City of New London to the New London Chamber of Commerce to renovate and lease for a new Chamber office. Chamber Board of Directors and City Council then gave approval to proceed with renovation and occupancy.

Don Zietlow was like a new father on Wednesday, April 13. The opening of another Kwik Trip store always excites him, even with over 1,000 stores in his family. Zietlow represented the entire Zietlow family of LaCrosse, owners of Kwik Trip stores throughout the Midwest. He and several members of the Kwik Trip family were in New London as store 791 received a grand opening celebration.
The renovation of the former BP gas station on North Shawano St. to be the future home of Kwik Trip North is coming along nicely. According to the site supervisor, the retail crew will be handed the keys April 1 to stock shelves and prepare for a mid-April opening.
